Are you a member of the University or the CHU of Liège ? You are automatically registered. Your ULiège/CHU student or membership card serves as your library card.In all other cases: you must request an external library card .

Where can I find my library ID number?
ULiège or CHU members Your reader number is your institutional ID and begins with S, U, or C.
External users Your library card number is printed on your card and begins with B.
What are the fees?
ULiège or CHU members Free - no registration required.
External users Free of charge for those who wish to use our services and resources for personal, non-profit purposes. A one-time contribution of €5 is requested for the card (refugees are exempt from this contribution).
External users (profit-making activities) €50 per year for those who wish to use our services and resources for profitable endeavours (legal professions, companies, pharmaceutical firms, etc.).
What is the validity period?
ULiège students Until your S account expires.
ULiège or CHU members Until your U/C account expires.
External users 1 year.
How can I renew my registration?
ULiège or CHU members Membership is automatically renewed.
Visitors Please go to the reception desk at one of the locations listed on this page with your library card (even if it has expired) and your ID card.
